::: The winery

Leo & Dagmar Wunderer’s winery is located in Oberfellabrunn in the heart of the western Weinviertel – 30 minutes east of Vienna and 4 kilometers from Hollabrunn. The experience of growing wine goes back to the 18th century.
True to our motto – tradition meets modernity – modern insights were combined with old knowledge. When the justification of the “new” is aligned with the “old” then we speak of harmony. With this in mind, we are happy if our wines find your approval and if you recommend us to others.

White wines

White wines are controlled, cooled and fermented in steel tanks. The harvest time is determined according to the physiological maturity. This is how harmonious, fruity, and wines good for aging are created.

Red Wines

Red wines are fermented in vats using the tried and tested method, with the mash being stirred by hand three times a day to prevent it from drying up and to achieve optimal color intensity. In general, only healthy grape material is used.

Wine for women

Years ago we implemented the idea of a lighter wine line for women. There are three wines in this line (White Woman, Pink Woman, Red Woman) that we have protected as patent word marks.
