Our locations are around our small village of Unterretzbach, which is close to Retz.

One of these sites gave our winery its name. The name was derived from the first wine that our grandfather bottled. At that time, the SONNENHÜGEL was a cuvee made from the most diverse varieties of this vineyard.

Unmistakable, intense wines with character and charm are our passion. All of our vineyards are cultivated according to organic-biological standards.
