Where the Weinviertel and Waldviertel meet – loess and the weathered bedrock of the Bohemian Massif, as well as the mild climate of the Weinviertel and the cool breeze of the Waldviertel – these are ideal conditions for pressing light, fruity and elegant wines.

That is why Karl Ziß focuses on white wine, and here in particular on the Grüner Veltliner, in well-defined varieties: from the light, fruity summer wine to the classic Weinviertel DAC, the medium-weight Urgesteinsveltliner from the Mühlberg vineyard, to the elegant Lößveltliner from the Hundspoint vineyard.
